Who Am I?

I am a social worker (LMSW) who is passionate about social justice, advocacy, trauma informed care, interfaith education, community building, and client empowerment. My work is grounded in the belief that every individual deserves dignity, opportunity, and the support needed to build a meaningful and fulfilling life.

I currently serve as a Clinical Case Manager at Dana's House, a residential reentry program operated by Community Resources for Justice, where I work with men transitioning from incarceration back into the community. In this role, I provide case management, weekly individual therapy, weekly therapeutic and psychoeducational groups, coordinate community resources, and support residents in developing the skills necessary for successful reintegration. My practice draws upon evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma informed care.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving a wide range of communities through clinical practice, advocacy, and community engagement. My previous experience includes serving as a clinical intern at CMHC's Substance Abuse Treatment Unit, where I provided individual and group therapy for individuals recovering from substance use disorders; working as Creative Director for the SHAWN Project, promoting education, community engagement, and raising awareness; volunteering with Chapel on the Green, serving New Haven's unhoused community; facilitating Monthly Magic, an inclusive spirituality and community group for LGBTQ+ individuals at my university; and leading therapeutic and life-skills groups focused on recovery, emotional wellness, and personal growth.

These experiences have allowed me to develop an expertise in behavioral health, substance use treatment, reentry services, crisis intervention, case management, group facilitation, community outreach, advocacy, interfaith dialogue, spiritually integrated therapy, and strengths based practice. Across every role, I strive to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and foster spaces where people can heal, grow, and discover a renewed sense of purpose.
